Birthdate: 2/3/99
From the age of 5 Zach Bullis has spent most of his life behind the wheel of a go kart. His racing career began at US 13 Kart Club in Delmar, Delaware where he began in the Pee-Wee Division.
At the age of 8 he began competing in Junior 1. In his first year of competition he was able to capture 2 WKA Delaware Dirt Divisional Championships and the US 13 Kart Club Championship for the 2007 season. At the same time competing in the Virginia Dirt Karters Association (VDKA) where he placed third and fifth at series end.
In 2008, we began traveling to different tracks and competing in other series including VDKA, NC/VA, North/South Money Series, and other Money Series. However in his radar was the AKRA National Championship. His dream started to become a reality while at Southern Pitt Raceway in Ayden, NC where he competed in the Dyno Cams American Kart Racing Association (AKRA) Grand Nationals. Zach piloted his Phantom Icon powered by P&P Speedshop to both poles and went on to win both National Events which compelled him to the National Championship. Also finishing third and fifth in VDKA and second and third in NC/VA Series.
In 2009, Zach will continue to travel adding new series and tracks to his schedule. He will again piloting a Phantom ICON powered by P&P Speedshop. All plans are not finalized at this point. Stand by and keep checking here for information where he will be.
2009 was a great year winning 2 Championships and either finishing or starting off with a Daytona win. There were some trying times through the year, most prominent was dealing with 2 broken wrists. This had a major impact on our schedule and points racing. However after the accident Zach was able to win the first night out and closed out the Championship run at NC/VA the following weekend with a big win.
In 2010, Zach will racing with Team Ultramax and piloting a 2010 Excentrik powered by Tim Fishel Motorsports. We will be competing in several different series with Ultramax and also on our own. We are looking forward to our new relationship with the u-max folks...
